Our trip was great and we gave Classic Journeys top marks in their survey. On a group tour for the first time, we often wondered ahead of time about how it would feel. Our eight fellow travelers were just our speed, all arrangements were handled flawlessly by CJ, and the guide was personable and knowledgeable. The weather, which could have been nasty, was fine, and because everyone on the trip was fit, the exertion level was steady but never difficult.
This shot at Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness became our Christmas card photo.
The itinerary had included a trip to the Isle of May (near St. Andrews), the chief attraction of which was to be nesting puffins. But because nesting season was over, that day was switched to a walk on the Fife Coastal Path, which was my favorite single walk. Terri loved Edinburgh (both our own time there plus the tour) and our walk in Glen Affric.
